First-Ever Women’s Cycling Health Event in Nashville Debuts in February

Chase away chafing, soothe saddle sores, and cruise comfortably when you learn about women’s-specific cycling health at Wheel You Be Mine?. This first-ever event of its kind in Nashville will be held on Saturday, February 22, from 2-5pm at Trinity Community Commons in East Nashville.

Organizers Taylor Kehrer, KJ Garner (Bike Fun), and Jessica Rinne (Walk Bike Nashville) are creating a space for women to learn about cycling health, saddle selection, chamois cream and anti-chafing tactics, clothing choices, and more.

Whether you ride centuries on the backroads or spin it out indoors, this event will have something for you.

Tickets are $15 and are available at http://www.wheelyoubemine.com. The ticket price includes raffle entry for products from both product sponsors and local bike shops.

Our featured presenter will be Anna Michelle Napier, MSN, CNM and WHNP, who is excited to provide medically accurate information to the women’s cycling community. A question and answer session immediately following the presentation will provide an opportunity to respond to questions from the audience, which can also be pre-submitted via ticket registration. Small group sessions on saddle selection, clothing, anti-chafing tactics, and post-ride recovery will round out the event.

Whether you ride centuries on the backroads or spin it out indoors, this event will have something for you.

Product sponsors are Chamois Butt’r, Petal Power, and Muc-Off. Presenting sponsors are Bike Fun and Walk Bike Nashville.
